Today at 12:30 room 3  watched a video of the gaming industry, We watch all about gaming and learning lots of cool interesting facts and people talking about esports. esports is a big gaming torment that people coming from all over the world and vs each other and the winner gets millions of dollars just to win a game so cool.

Kahuiapani poem

My whole class made poems about sad but true stories called Kahupani and about how these two kids had to find another home after a pandemic. And Turangawaewae was the place they found to stay so we did a poem about the story with the letters in Turangawaewae.

This is mine.

Together they all carried a jar of soil and took turns holding it.

Ūnder shelter when it rains  

Running away from the flu.

Afraid of losing more loved ones.

Never looking back continuing with their journey.

Getting greeted into a new life.

Alone walking for days.

Won't be loved after their parents died.

Alone trying to find safety.

Everyone finally has a place to call home.

Worried about not living for much longer, cold, and no food.

Everyone is now safe and happy.

 The Rope

It was a Saturday night and the friend group, Capri the group leader, Eva, Kyvana, and Shelby were playing GTA, And Capri was over at Eva's and Karvana and Shelby were playing The game at Shelby’s mum’s house. 

They were playing when it was about 10’oclock and Eva got a call from an unknown phone number Eva picked it up and it was a guy saying… 

“I know where your house is. I'm in your kitchen, come down and see me. I’m not going to hurt you.” Eva and Capri got scared and they were at home alone because Eva’s dad was milking cows. 

They were trying to ring Eva's dad but he didn't pick up and they were trying and trying but it just keeps ring but no answer, They were going to have a look at what the man was doing he had a rope and an axe waiting they ran back to the room and locked the door and get so scared they were crying and just waiting for him to come up and kill them. Karvana and Shelby were getting scared and they couldn't do anything because they are not at their place. They were trying to make them not cry or make any noise.  

The guy came up and started to bang on the door, He said “open the door and we will get this thing over fast or I will have to do it the hard way and bash down this door and I won't be happy. They were so scared at that point they couldn't move or breathe they were so scared.

Then Eva said “what's the time my dad comes back at 11’oclock what's the time Capri said “it was 10:58” then Eva said “My dad will be back home soon. 

They waited for it then they heard their dad come. They yelled out the window saying “Help Help there's a man in the house.

How to play dodge ball.

 How to play dodgeball. 

This explanation will be about how to play a game of Dodgeball. It's an easy game to play. But also has rules and other things you need to know before you play the game. 

Before you can start playing the game you need to have teams to play. Then when you follow your team to your side of the courts. When the whistle blows you run and get a ball.  You have to try not to get out but get the other teams players out.

You hit people with a ball but not their heads. You catch the ball to get the player out. If you drop the ball you are out. The jail is on the other side of the courts in the half-circle. 

When you are out you need to try to catch the ball from your teammate. You can win when everyone is out on the other team. Then you restart the game and play it again. 

You guard the jail to make sure the other team won't get them out of jail. When you catch the ball you go back and play with your team. You have to dodge the ball and when you get a ball you hit someone with it but not too hard and not the head. 

In conclusion, this game is very fun to play when you follow the rules and have fun.

Causes and consequences of changes in our oceans.

We need to save our planet not destroy it. If we keep letting plastic into our ocean it is going to kill the planet not help it. Just one plastic bag can kill an innocent turtle in the sea. So that means when we are older there won't be any kai in the sea to catch because there will not be any fish to catch.  

If we don't want our sea creatures to die then stop putting plastic on our beaches and in oceans. Stop dumping plastic on the roads and beaches because it flies into the sea and kills our sea creatures. 

Oil spills are one of the biggest pollution problems in the sea. Oil spills kill 25,900 Mammals, 82,000 birds of 120 species, 6,165 sea turtles, and more each year. If we don't want fish in our sea then this is how we are going to achieve it. They are living animals.

Plastic pollution is the main cause of all of the ocean creatures dying. It is one of the main things that we are doing to our ocean and killing all of the animals so there is not much fish in the sea to fish and looking at all of the cool and fantastic animals we can go diving and look at them. Every day approximately 8 million pieces of plastic pollution find their way into our oceans. There may now be around 5.25 trillion macro and microplastic pieces floating in the open ocean.

So now you can see how everything that is killing the sea creatures and the ocean is all us people. Go plastic-free to keep our ocean alive and not try to kill it. , Save Them.   By Maddison.

 Why Flooding Causes Destruction

Floods are the most common type of natural cycle. The water that comes from the rain and waterfall land that is usually dry but because it has been raining so much the rivers have overflowed the waterfalls and they are getting onto the road and streets. And the rubbish is a big concern to our flooding because it washes the rubbish into the drains and stops the water from flowing normally.   

Did you know In general, two or three inches of rain per hour onto the street makes it flood. Yet if eight to ten inches pours down in an hour or two, roads usually are flooding and cause overflowing. When it floods the rubbish gets stuck on the fences and leaves lots of mess on the fences. 

The problems the floods create

Floodings can cause lots of damage to our properties and also farms like damaging houses, blocking off roads,  streets and rivers slip onto the roads, cars floating away, people drowning, and many more bad things to our countries. 

How can people solve or reduce the problem of flooding?

Better flood warning systems, modify homes and businesses to help them withstand floods, construct buildings above flood levels and clean out gutters and clean out strims for water to flow normal and fast in the drains. People can also stop littering because the rubbish gets stuck in the drains and streams and blokes off all of the flowing water so it can not flow like normal.

Did you know even six inches of fast-moving flood water can knock you off your feet, and a depth of two feet will float your car. If you don't want your house or farm to flood then clean out every drain or strims and gutters you have on your property need to be cleaned out when it floods so it doesn't overflow and destroy anything. So it would be a really good idea to clean out all of your drains before a heavy rain.

Gypsy cob Horse. I will show you how to take care of them,
what you need, how much exercise they need, and what is
the best exercise you can do for them.

The three main places to get a Gypsy vanner horse is

Auckland. Auckland is the last main place you would find a
Gypsy Cob horse but Gisborne and Wanganui are the main
places to find a Gypsy Cob Horse. The first purebred horse
was imported into New Zealand in 2004 and by July 2015
there were 100 purebred Gypsy Cobs and 227 part-bred
Gypsy Cobs registered with the Association. 

The three main things you need to care for a Gypsy Cob Horse.
Lots of Grass and Water because they love to eat grass most of
the day but need lots of water. Any good shampoo and Conditioner

or is too cold for them. 

How much exercise they need and what is the best exercise
you can do for them. The first one is trotting around your biggest
paddock to keep them fit and to show them that you are confident

paddock and going around them all. And taking them to the beach
or on teaks.

Make sure they are happy in their new home because if they are
not they will not be happy and they don't want to do anything,
make sure they are in a safe place at all times and make sure
they have Food and Water at all times.

That is how you take care of a Gypsy Cob Horse. So now you
know about how to care for/raise a Gypsy Vanner horse. That is
most of the thing you need to know about them.
