The fun day

The Fun Day. 

On Saturday 26 February we had a fun day at the Kaitaia rodeo grounds. Tamzyn and I were the only kids from Ahipara School. There were a lot of activities on the day. The runs I did were, Team Barrel racing when you get a partner and you get a rope and you do the barrels without letting the rope go. And I did Barrel racing, which is when you go around 3 barrels and try to beat everyone else and beat you time. And  Pole bending is when you have 5 to 6 poles and you throw them and beat the other person.  And this is the hardest when you don't have the right horse for its  Team drafting is when you have three people in the arena and you get a number and the are 3 calves that have the same number and it goes up to 10 and you have to get then past the barrels and try not the let them out of the line of the barrels and I also did the Keyhole its when is have a line and you need to ride on the line and then turn around in the circle and race back on the line and beat the other person and the Jackpot barrel race it's when you do the barrels and beat all age and no limit and they try to beat everyone else and we had to pay $20 to do it and it did lots more. All my family that lives up here was there and some were on the Fun day. It was a great day and the sun was out most of the time. The horse that I rode was my horse Darkey. And the horse that my Aunty Therese rode was her horse Cuda. The fun day went on all day. I won $20.00 for the team drafting, And a horse cover from the kids raffle.

Queen Bee!!

Once a pod of time there lived a lady called Queen Bee her real name was Sophia she was brought up from a rich family and they loved bees. They could even  talk to them and they talk back. But one day she went on her phone and saw a email it was from her mother and farther (they said they weren't coming home for another few days and that the bees food is quite a lot of money so here is $4,000 to get the bee food and the rest you can do what you want with it Love from your presents) so she got her money from her bank account and went to the Pet shop she took her Lamborghini. (10 minutes later) She is at the Pet shop she got the bee food and saw seven female Bees and she had to get them she ask the pet shop keeper how much were they and see said they were $1,000. Then Sophia said she will get them for that price. (10 minutes later) she got home and she was feeding the Bees and then she nerd a knock.(knock knock) she opened the door and it was her best friend Ella she was here to give her some cages for her Bees. Today I started tech, I was in the technology class.
I'm doing painting and carving wood to make 3d lights.
that is put on the wood and make the color as the lights and it has a letter or initial of your name. 

And you carve it out and put it on the wood and you paint the wood and then paint the letter.
then you connect the wires together and make the light’s go.

It was my first time at tech. It was fun and I loved it.

Our class teacher is Mr. Benjamin.
